Jayson is a jack-of-all-trades. I've never heard him say no to a request and he gives his all to every task. He's skillful in the way that he works with students and is always appreciated by his colleagues. He's a popular teacher at our school. It's common to hear kids ask, "Who's subbing for our class?" or "who's coming on the field trip with us?" and when they hear that it's Jayson, they erupt in excited cheers. Kids feel comfortable with Jayson and his respect for them is reciprocated. He's been a great leader in our tinkering summer camp with 7-11 year olds, facilitating design sessions, training kids to use tools, and helping kids to build giant structures out of wood. --Tatian Greenleaf, Design, Tinkering and Technology Integrator
Mr. Howe has been a big help especially during this pandemic. He is always watching out for us and helping us. He is a great teacher, supervisor, and friend. We have had some very nice conversations with each other and if something is wrong and I ask him about it, he always gives great advice. He is supportive and sweet to all of his students. At the beginning of the year my fellow students and I didn’t really know him, but when we did he was really nice. Again, he has been an amazing teacher, and I couldn’t imagine the year going well without him. --R.Z., 7th grade
Mr. Howe is the coolest sub ever and I wish he was my normal teacher. --I.P., 8th grade
Mr. Howe is a nice and funny teacher that will always help students out. --N.M., 8th grade
Mr. Howe was by far the best sub we had during the 8th grade. Also, thank you for helping me with my tie during graduation. Means a lot! --S.W., 8th grade
Mr. Howe is always very interactive with students and brings a fun attitude to everything he does. --A.S., 7th grade
Mr. Howe always makes school 100x more enjoyable, from talking to us to watching over our class--K.B., 7th grade
Mr. Howe was always a helpful and memorable substitute teacher for me and my peers. No matter what subject he was subbing for, he taught the class so well you could mistake him for the actual teacher. He is especially talented at teaching material for the first time and on the spot. --G.B., 7th grade
